terry.sc 16 Posted January 30, 2008 Most high level racers use a 10 turn or lower motor. If it's a touring car then any high end car will handle that. Take your pick from Schumacher Mi3, Associated TC5, Corally RDX Phi, Tamiya TRF416, Hot Bodies Cyclone Worlds, Xray T2 008. If it's a buggy you want again there are many. Choose from Yokomo MR4-BX, Tamiya TRF501X, Hot Bodies D4, JConcepts BJ4, Associated B44, XFactory X5, Predator X11. Don't forget the unlimited spec ESC you will need as well. backtomyroots 432 Posted January 30, 2008 If you want to go off road try the new Tamiya 4WD Durga.
Shodog 1835 Posted January 30, 2008 I would recomend buying a second hand Xray T1. They can be had for $90-$120 and can handle what ever you can throw at it. I have two and love them this one has an 11 turn trinity Cobalt http://www.tamiyaclub.com/showroom_model.a...40450&id=34 And this one have a Novak 4.5 Brushless http://www.tamiyaclub.com/showroom_model.a...61373&id=
highflyer 73 Posted January 30, 2008 ey guys does anyoone knows a car electric that can handle a 10 turn motor or even lower ?? thnx driftking Like others mentioned, some Intermediate kits (TA05-R/Cyclone S) and certainly the World Class Factory kits (the Pro drivers use) can handle anything you can throw at it. Just use good tires on what ever you decide..
7.2inchdriver 0 Posted February 1, 2008 i have run a reedy 10 turn triple in my tao2 for years without a problem. i also run a 7 cell pack and an oversized spur gear. it handles this combo fine. it is the mustang in my showroom and you can tell it has been run hard.
