ISTR that you only need a bog standard 2 channel for this as the mode switch will let you switch between crab steer or opposite steering. If you had a 3 or more channel set up you wouldnt need this box of tricks.

Because then you can do as I did, and fitted my tlt and my Hilift with front and rear independent steering.

Aren't there two versions of this one for 2CH and one for 3CH?

I googled it up and checked the url on the picture, there are variations of this product. crab/4/lockout steer and dig steering. unfortunately the product pages are very light in documentation. it *SEEMS* that you only need a two-channel, yet there's a lead for a third channel for mode input. I recommend contacting the manufacturer. If the seller didn't describe it themselves, they really don't deserve the sale.

The products appear to target 2-channel users with the option to switch modes remotely with a third channel. IMHO. if you have a 3-channel, you can achieve trick steering much more fluidly simply by operating another channel independently or leaving it alone for "lockout." If it's for a dig setup, the same applies, except you're using a third channel to manipulate a second ESC while lightly braking the rear (look into a radio with channel-mixing features) Since you need to buy extra hardware no matter how you look at it, you might as well, spring for the extra channels and install a more robust setup.
