After getting back into Tamiya models and finding out that the rep for East Anglia has sadly died, after visiting 2 toy shops. I would love to do this as a fulltime job.

I have had a look on the main Tamiya website without any luck.

How cool would a Tamiya Liveried company car look.

It would have to be a car from Tamiya's current range of touring cars, yes?

And you'd have to have a giant straw coming from the roof.

If you want to be a sales rep selling Tamiya r/c kits then the people to deal with are the Hobby Company, who are Tamiyas importers. Do remember though their main product lines are Italieri and Tamiya static model kits, Ninco slot racing sets, die cast cars, balsa planes, model railways and boats. All of which you would be needed to sell.

As you can probably guess lots of good sales experience will get you the job rather than experience of using just one of their products.

Funnily enough I am a Chairman of a Diecast toy club. Attend Old Warden each year flying free flight balsa models and have slot cars also in my collection.

Could be a problem with the anorak model railways though ;)
