Well I just finished cleaning up my EVO that I got off the bay for a steal (250 US!!!!). It looks like it was used once and put away. All I had to do was add a prop shaft and rebuild the rear diff. The diff was a mess looks like the person who built the rear one had no clue. The car is awesome. Painted the shelll black to match the box and the pics from the RC catalog of back in the day.

So I now have my original TF, a rere and an EVO. I might get a TQ body for one of them but I dont know yet.

Anyway back to the original reason for this post, who has a review of the EVO? Could you please email me the review? I wouyd love to read how people thought of this ride when it came out. I know most reviews favored the TF minus the plastic shocks and metal bearings, so I figure the EVO probably faired quite well.

Steady on there, give people a chance! There is a review section on this site, feel free to post your review of this car there.

I have an original Top Force, and agreed it's a great car. A bit heavy compared to modern cars, but still great to drive.

The Top Force Evo's box art colour is gunmetal, not black though. Still would look tops in black.

Well I have been trying to get a review on the TF EVO forever but to no avail. So how about advertisements. Any kind of vintage material would be great!!!

Here is an article from Radio Control Dirt Action circa August 1993. The images are a big download but should be worth it. Just click on bar above the pic and then click on the picture to enlarge it.

I have a Top Force Evo too.

I got the box as well and it has every rw racing spur gear and pinions with different idler gears too. I have a carbon fiber prop shaft as well. I custom made a set of carbon fiber shock towers and a spare set just in case.

I raced it 2 yrs ago at the N.S.W state titles in 19t. It was so quick and went really well except it didnt like the big jumps. I just rolled over them,

the others jumped them and most broke there car or on the lid.

I qualified 5th , A motor change for the finals and came 2nd in final 1,2 and 3. I managed to get along side the fastest BJ4 along the huge straight but he had the inside line. I than made a small mistake from pushing to hard but was rapt in 2nd overall.

In stock or 19t they are still very competive.
