Please stay with me on this guys and post your thoughts as I'm a little bit confused. Let me explain:

I listed some Tamiya and GPM hop-ups which ended last sunday (8 days ago) on eBay, and they were bid up to 32 plus postage. Now the buyer placed the winning bid about 15 minutes before the close, so I doubt it was a snipe bid. The winner was in france so when I emailed him/her a couple of times I predicted a language barrier. So yesterday morning I sent an unpaid item strike, with the option to mutually end all obligation assuming ebay france would put it in their native tongue. He/she replied, stating the item is no longer requested. I called it quits and then relisted it last night.

I received an e-mail from ebay saying I no longer had any obligation to the deal and was free to skip merrily on my way.

The confusing bit is this:

This morning I have had a paypal payment from the seller for the total amount.

What do I do?!

Refund it.

The payment was not received in the allotted time & you followed the rules.

You have documentary evidence of that so no one can string you up for it.

If they really want it, they'll bid again, you may even get more for it :)

That's what I thought. But then can he/she still leave neg feedback? My 100% 300ish feedback makes me think in crazy ways, I think I'll neg myself so I stop worrying about it!
