ive tried the re-re frog shocks but found them a little hard, unless someone knows of some other softer springs, anyways thats for the back, my question is how to mount some on the front, some gave me an idea if making some wildone like shock mounts with a brace between but cant find any front shocks that might fit, does anyone know of any hop-ups etc that might help. my fav does get used on every meet and yes it gets ramped and was after something to replace the dreadful front springs.

I am thinking that some of the TamTech Gear style shocks (either the nice 3Racing ones or the hideously expensive Tamiya ones) might fit the bill nicely. The 3Racing ones come pre-assembled and oil-filled and will therefore need to have the harder pistons installed as they are even too soft for the light weight TTG buggies.

Additionally, Tamiya do a tuning spring set (or some such) for the TTG (I have a set somewhere) so you could use the stiffer springs and a bunch of pre-load to take into account the heavier buggy. I sold my WO otherwise I could have tested it for you.

The wild one dampers are an easy retrofit. the front damper mounts are found in the pressed parts bag. the front dampers are hornet and the rear are turrned down frog dampers. I made this switch on my runner fav and they work well plus they are vintage.

I had a set of wild one and FAV front arms quite a while back.i noticed they were different.the favs are shorter so they dont give as much width to the car and the shock mount point is different.if you wanted to fit hornet shocks at the front you would need the wild one front arms aswell as the metal mounts.unfortunatley i sold all my fav/wo stuff ,but i always wondered if re-re hotshot damper bodies would be a good substitute for the rear shocks when combined (if poss) with re-re frog rear springs and shock tops.that would be fairly easy to get nowadays.( i gave up trying to finish my wild one as some of the bits were silly money)hope this gives you some help/ideas. :D
