For those that use the Futaba 4EXA (a great computer radio with analog trims) for their high lifts and are frustrated by the ratchet left throttle stick; go to your local hobby shop and ask them to order part numbers:

HSP78901 - swing arm

HSP67450 - spring

Open the back of the radio and unscrew the ratchet. Install the parts as per the other three channels. Now you will have the self-centering stick on the throttle. If you are as frustrated as I was, this is a godsend.

These are US part numbers but should put you on the right track. For less than $2 total US, now you have the radio that you want...

Cheers Dudewalker,

I was sat at my desk at work this morning thinking about converting the right stick to a self centre.

I swapped over the parts from the left stick onto the right, so the left stick (throttle) would self centre.

If the left/right & up/down components are the same inside, then I might take the self centre off the horizontal left stick (Gear select) and put that on the up/down right stick.

I can't see a problem having the gear select stick on the ratchet. Probably easier in fact.

Will take a closer look when i get home.

Failing that, I will order the parts from a local Futaba dealer in the UK.
