Hey folks!

I have a Wild Willy 2 and want to convert it into a Willys Wheeler. I know (from somewhere in the Forum) that Tamiya had a guide online on how to make the conversion, but I can't find it. And does anybody know where I can get all the parts to transform the WW2 into a Wheeler?

Thanks for your help!

Tamiya Japan has it on thier website but its really hard to find now.

You have the WW2 but do you have the body set?

Basically you need to turn the the front suspension arms around, add some hexes, rig up a way to mount the front shocks. and use some RC boys wheels. If you have the Wheeler body set you are over half way there.

Do you have much experience kit bashing?

Welcome to the club by the way

Tamiya removed their kaizou pages last august, which had several weird conversions on the site. It has been archived by the web archive and although the text hasn't been translated you can tell what needs to be modified by the pictures.

The hardest part of the job will be getting hold of the rerelease Wheeler body set. The wheels needed are from a Tamiya Voltec Fighter.

I had this thought, too... But I was going to convert it back to TA-01 front hubs, and use Mu Low-ride wheels and tyres... Just because I have some  .
