I am pretty bad at painting, but some folks might be wondering where in the world you live as your profile on the left doesn't show it. Mine doesn't either, but I haven't figured out how to change that. I am in TX, USA. Since I am on the subject, I shall beg and plead for a few parts I need to finish my Booth Astute(mine will be truly one when I am done as that is my last name too). I could use the front sway bar and the LEFT diff joint cup. If you can help me out, building can commence.

Crash -

is that joint not the same as in the vanquish and a few others? (Avante too)

the joint with the long pin coming out of it.

There is a full set on ebay but you don't need all that.

Try Europro. He has alot of non listed items and could well have it.

The radio Race Car Astute is quite a simple design, although it does need an airbrush to get the border fades done. Any of the pro painters should be able to reproduce that design cheaply, sorry can't help with painters in the US though. I would point out that the car featured isn't Jamie Booths Astute, IIRC his had a similar design to his Manta Ray http://www.tamiyaclub.com/article.asp?id=64.

Got a pic?

It's the one in the article mentioned

I guess I didn't realize it went to the Avante and Vanquish as well, you are right don't need the entire lot. I am hoping someone has one laying about that isn't being used and not abused too much(not any grooves worn in yet)

Just a quick thought

You could try getting in touch with the man himself (Jamie Booth) and asking if he has a decent spare shell he'd sell you?

His family own a company called Spire Model Distribution based near Chesterfield

There's no tel number on their website (http://www.s-m-d.co.uk)

But I'm pretty sure it could be found from directory enquiries
