Mad Ax, Richytanimal, Lemming and I (along with others :D ) have met several times at Ham Hill near Yeovil. Last time we chatted about having the next meet up nearer to Bristol, so it wasn't such a southerly trek for some.

Venue ideas?

Dates? I suggest weekend either 18/19 or 25/26 April or 9/10 May

Ashton Court estate is good, its got some smooth tarmac, plus grass and woody areas for crawling bashing etc.

I still haven't checked out the gravel bmx track at Keynsham but that used to be a good spot.

Any of the dates are fine for me.

I'll get round to a few more places asap and post them here <_<

18/19 Apr would be best for me. The week after that I've been roped in to helping someone move house, which will potentially mean many trips to Dorset and back...

Someone pick a good location in Brizzle ;)

Any chance of east of Brizzy? Like Baff? Cos I could make the effort from Bournemouth. Best get on with making some cars that work!!

one site is in keynsham, 6 mile from baff.

i know the area pretty well, i'll give some thought to anywheer else we can try.

I expect this year we'll alternate between Bristol and Yeovil (which isn't too far from Bournemouth) - I want to try to arrange one meet every month once I've got myself sorted.

I hope to have all my runners fixed by April ;)

There's a lot of lovely woods and hills round Bath. Good for offroading! My work's HQ is in that area; I'll try picking some colleagues brains and see if they know of some good public places for walking (or in our case driving).

Bit confused (unless the Top Gear calendar is busted)...

18/19 April = Friday/Saturday

25/26 April = Friday/Saturday

9/10 May = Friday/Saturday

Anyway, we can make the weekend of the 19/20 April if that helps (probably the others too, but this ones seemed to be good for Mad Ax).

All the best y'all (in a Southern American drawl of course)

OK, OK, so I don't know the difference between Fridays and Sundays...:rolleyes::D

I was looking at an American calender in my kitchen and obviously they don't have the same weeks as us! :P

Sunday 20th April good for most peeps?

Yes definately open to anyone who wants to come along - we're a friendly bunch

WRCAction:

I'm not sure what to expect from this "new" venue but we normally bring a big variety of trucks. I'll bring my 1.9 scaler if you're going to bring a scale truck too. I normally try to bring one of everything:

fast monster truck

buggy

rally car

M-chassis car for tarmac bits

any miscellaneous stuff that I want to show off

Im deff up for it, Ill need to check my work rota, but I should be able to swap shift. My list to bring will be a Mad fighter to abuse. An Emaxx for more abuse, A scale 1.9er, a modified TLT and some choc chip cookies

My parents are now the proud posessors of my Gecko, so for me I think it will be:

E-Maxx (now repaired and running on 2.4ghz  )

TLT (for the wife)

Probably the two mini's

Hmm... Not got a lot more to bring really. The Dyna Storm is still broken, the Top Force needs a diff rebuild really and I can't be bothered to prep the smaller scale ones (Mini-T, RC18T, Mini Inferno).

I have got my Brushless FF-01 (ready for making an FTO) running a stadium raider body and wheels but I fear I may break it (also hence not bringing the repaired Avante this time ;) )

Anyway, if I don't re-appear on here before the day, see you all there

And preferably not on the same frequency as someone else! :P

Are we going to Ashton Court like first suggested?

Need some more info (parking, facilities and most importantly r/c terrain)

It'll be good to see some extra new faces. The more the merrier :D

ashton court will be mad busy, and i think allthe tarmac is in a really bad state, lots of work going on there at the mo.

still got time to find a site, keynsham is a bit small for a large bash, plus there is no tarmac.

The park and rides are shut in bath on a Sunday, and i'm sure one of the will give a us a nice combo of parking, tarmac and off road.

any othre ideas?
