My Wild Dagger Ebay Save

i bought this with the intention of having a cheap basher but it needed a bit of love before it would even run,i wish i took a picture when i first got it cos it was in quite a state!!i completely stripped it rebuilt/greased and fitted ball races to the gear boxes(ebay folly models) ripped out the radio gear and refitted it tidily,also as the tamiya silver can motors were both locked i replaced them with yokomo pro stock 19x2(both zero timed) the esc i got with it wasn't upto the new motors so my lad got it in his touring car.i found an old mtroniks no limit speedo from my old mod touring car and that runs the motors really well.also after lurking around on here i bought some gpm 4' shock towers(ebay) and some 4' tmaxx shocks,a bargain 10 delivered(ebay) and already built up.i found out the standard tyres weren't up to much so i put on a set of junfac chrome beadlocks i had for my crawler and fitted a set of 2.2 mudslingers(ebay)

It's finished for now i'll be upgrading it as and when it breaks/i can afford it

Lookin good simon! i wanna get mine under a speed gage so i know what its speed is! as far as replacing when it brakes . . . they dont! have treated mine a lil rough in the past but nothin brakes apart from steering servos if u aint got a good un! heres a pic o mine in its sunday best! soon to get f-350'd!

i normally use bluebird servo's metal geared hightorque/speed about a tenner normally,i've not broke one yet

i didnt want to start a new thread so thaught i would ask here, what wheels will fit a Wild Dagger? i have seen some on ebay but have no idea what to get/what fits, heres some of the ones i like

i have mudrocks on mine! anything with 12mm hex will fit, try n go for 2.2" wheels though, otherwise they look a lil small!

thats what i gona buy, gona throw a reciver in it and run with the msc till next week some time, am planning to get a couple of 17-19 turn motors, not sure which yet, may get a pair of 17s and 19s and see which i prefer, i think the motors i was looking at getting are the same pro stock by YOKOMO that "kernowmafia" is running in his! what pinions is it best to run iwth these motors?

Can i just say, that truck has a few good hop ups on it, pinions 20T are a must! dont settle for less! just remember faster motor less torque! is your call!

on the tyre front check out tyres for crawlers in 2.2 flavour i've seen wheel/tyre combo's for an axial scorpion go for really little money on ebay,the only thing with crawler wheels though is the really narrow offset,as i think mine could do with axle wideners really

sorry i cant find a link to it.....it was very brown though,it took ages to clean it up but i think it was worth it
