Yo Rambo. Are you going for aluminum or plain o plastic 4 in shocks? Cause ordinary maxx shocks are abundant and cheap in fleabay. Heck, you can buy 8 of a set and you have 4 as spare if you busted one. They say those big bores of traxxas are good shocks.

If you want alloy then check out RCMart.com, they sell Yeah! Racing 100mm alloy shocks in silver or blue. They come with both medium and hard springs, and an adjustable collar. They also come with extended bolts for fitting, although you might have to install a spacer or a few washers on the lower mounts where they bolt into the bottom arms.

Build quality isn't the best in the world - the anodizing on the blue shocks doesn't seem to stand up to much abuse, and they do leak a little. They also don't come with any oil, but RCMart do supply a rebuild kit specifically for these shocks so you can rebuild them if they get too leaky. The medium springs are too hard if you're planning to do any slow crawling and too soft for racing, but the hard springs are OK for regular bashing.

You can get the Duratrax Evader shocks for next to nothing, I've used them on my ThuderTiger nitro ST and on my TXT-1 and they have gone through alot and are holding up really nice...

They come in three lengths and costs 16 USD / pair from TowerHobbies...
