DCLXVI 3 Posted April 8, 2008 Cars to fix: Thunder Tiger DT-10 : Needs to be screwed back together (and to find all the parts) Thunder Tiger EK-4 : It's in two parts right now, the main one and the rear axle/diff case Kyosho PTA-2 : Needs one stub axle (I installed electronics and fixed it up the other day to run it for 5 minutes before I brake the axle)... Kyosho Landmax : Needs new spurgear Tamiya Mazda 797b (or whatever, F103) : Needs a complete rebuild Tamiya Grasshopper : Currently being rebuilt to a Hornet with TLT dampers (if it works ) Another Grasshopper : not built I think that's all...that's the ones that aren't running atm, then you have plans for the running ones... TXT-1 : Improve home built steering mod XC-01 : Get new tires and improve rear suspention DT-02 : Repair BL motor sytem Hornet : Find new tires/rims... markbt73 5316 Posted April 9, 2008 Current projects: Parma Hemi Coupe - chassis built, body painted and assembled, engine detailing started, needs running gear. Will use 540 and TEU101 from Alfa kit. M04 Alfa Romeo - Built, needs to have motor (P2k2) and ESC (Novak Rooster) installed, needs receiver to run, has plastic bushings on axles, stole bearings from it for Grasshopper. Box of bits that may become something - Kyosho GS11 engine with Associated clutch bell installed, Bolink pan-car rear pod hacked up to make room for the engine, Associated 12L front suspension, flat piece of .080" fiberglass, Parma solid rear axle. I was going to make this all into a nitro-powered "gasser," but it hasn't happened yet. Uncompleted projects, around another 40 in the restoration pile that need work, most bought from ebay and added to the pile due to their rarity. When you find a car that's impossible to get you have to buy it and deal with it later, many of my collection I have never seen for sale again. Mustang Cobra R TL01 AWD, found on eBay Feb.'08 as a shelf-queen, now modded up and run hard. Mustang Cobra R TL01, chassis minus wheels/motor/bopdy/electrics found on eBay Mar.'08 for $11, cut and stretched, RWD and mildly modded. My old-school 'MuscleCar'. F150 Race Truck, from Tower Mar.'08, minor mods. Others (all 'toy-grade' junk, just for giggles): Fresh Cherries AMC Pacer Radio Shack 'Stuart Little' convertible. Radio Shack 1/64ish scale Dodge Ram pickup. Coming soon......??? GlobeLiner semi and box trailer, full lights/sound, yada, yada, yada. Non-Tamiya hobby-grade rigs: Why would I do that??? TT01 lancia delta integrale stock as a rock other than bb's project - TA02 FRP chassis with taisan gearcases, fully ballraced including steering, GPM alloy suspension & steering, FRP shock towers, speed tuned gears, adj upper arms, rear swaybar, one way front diff, hard prop shaft, carbon gear shafts, alloy motor mount, mamba max 7700kv setup, plus much more i cant remember. bodyshell as yet undecided but i have a new calsonic R32 GTR shell and also a EVO6 makinen shell so probably one of those NIB - to become shelf queens - TA02W clarion 95 GTR LM edition TA03F lancer evo 4 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

Wrc action 0 Posted April 10, 2008 Thinning down a little now really to 5 runners in the end - TB01 rally car with LA set - TT01 basher/college racer - Schlesser dakar buggy based on a stretched/reworked MO4 - Dakar support truck based loosely on the highlift chassis - Race Touareg 2 - presently in need of a rebuild and diff rework. then some assorted shells (about 8) as well as a DI base for a pajero and an old pajero t3 on the shelf. might get a few more in time but Im aiming to get this lot up and running. I have recently got it out and had it running........ hence I got the bug now lol I then bought the Losi XXL as it was a truck and I needed 1 for my collection This is awesome IMHO The GS Storm and RS4 I just bought in the past week off ebay, so I have a nice array of rc's to keep me happy for a bit Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

Will probably add an ESC. 1* Rising Fighter (my daughter's); runner - running a 55T crawler motor to slow it down for her 1* 2010 Holiday Buggy; runner with 540 upgrade & shelf & running bodies 1* Re-Re Hornet; runner with box-art shelf body & an old bashing body 1* CC-01 Land Cruiser; runner. 1 shelf body - detailed / scale bits 'n' bobs & 1 running body (General Lee style) That's it for now, but plan to get a new Grasshopper, do a General Lee shelll for the Hornet and keep hoping they will re-re the SRB Ford Pickup..... I keep telling myself I am going to start redoing 1 a week and get some of these finished, but never do. These were taken a few months back, theres maybe 20 that arent in the pics.
