The teu-101bk (ESC) replaces the mechanical speed controller (MSC) and servo.

The power in (big white plug) and power out (bullet connectors) are the same.

The blue and black wires on the MSC went to wire wound resistors which is replaced by the ESC fets.

You will be left with two other cables.

One is the power lead (two wires , red & black) which supplies power from your battery to the reciever.

The other has three wires and goes the channel 2 on the reciever.

For more info search for teu-101bk and you'll find the PDF manual on goldstarstockists.

Good luck

just look into a tamiya manual and its all there, I think we have a TEU manual online on tc if not try tamiyausa as they are pretty sharp on things.

And your crystal goes in the reciever btw ;) to "recieve signals"

http://tamiyaclub.com/showroom_model.asp?c...26&sid=8468 bottom few pics show the radiogear in my Dakar Buggy that I custom made, runs a TEU-101BK on simple acoms radio gear, totals:

- reciver

- esc for speed control

- servo for steering

- battery for power.

- and a switch ;)
