thinking of buying a highlift but does it take a 3or 4 channel radio system.

also where can i get the repro bruser interior.

still trying to decide toyota or f350?

It can work on 2 channels if you want to shift the gears manually by picking it up and pushing the shift rod yourself.

3 channels are needed to change gears on the fly. Its just that 4 channel radios are quite common, and needed if you fit the MFC unit.

Body choice is up to you. The truck looks better stock as an F-350, the wheels and body hight are not quite right with the toyota shell, though slight adjustment makes it look ace

if i were to use a traxxas 3ch tmaxx trans ,would this be ok?as the third channel is a switch.

saw a f350 done in a military style ,with a rear section ontop of the rear bed.anyone know who make these?or are they custom fabricated?

a switch will be hard work, but you could make it operate 2 of the 3 gears. Better off buying a 4 channel radio. Saying that I mostly use 2nd gear anyways.

Search thru ebay for custome made stff, or try some crawler stores:

i see what you mean about the toyota body.i think the f350 does look slightly better.does it come with the spot lights for the front bumper like the toyota?

No front bumper spots with the F-350.

Some people (myself included) don't even bother with the front bumper, it's a little bit "toy like" and chunky, though thats just my opinion!!!

The truck itself is a very nice bit of kit. The chassis is tough and performs well, and can be customized to suit different terrain easily.

I['ve got some Junfac wheel wideners if you wanna pm me for a deal?

Wouldn't bother with the chassis, unless you can get one cheap. In my view it moves better when it's a bit heavier. 4 link makes them very, very good offroad, but I recon you'll be really suprised just how good they are as standard.

Adjustable damper mounts are pretty handy. They have three mounting points so you can ajdust the height.

who makes the adjustable damper mounts?

Mine are Yeah Racing if i remember. They make a complete alloy set(chassis rails, servo, damper mounts+other parts) set but sell them seperately too.

The Junfac is a nice chassis. It makes fitting 2.2 wheels very easy for an f350. The workmanship is top notch but IMO too expensive. I bought one and was going to use it on my Hilux but found the rear mount was incompatible so it's probaby going to end up on my orange lift
