Anyone In Or Near Andover?

Anyone in Andover (Hampshire, UK) with on-road cars nitro/electric want a bash? I want someone to race/bash with lol

No on-road bashers that I know of though plenty of clubs round south Hampshire for more formal racing (Southampton, South Hants, Waterside and New Forest clubs).

If you may be even slightly interested in off-road bashing then check out www.rc-extreme.co.uk/forum and scroll down to the regional groups for meet ups of the Berkshire and Southampton Bashers. Not massively near Andover but we do meet up near Basingstoke once a month and there are various other bashes planned. Saturday mornings for the Southampton Bashers and we vary the meets around the general Southampton area. A friendly bunch of mainly nitro bashers though I show up once in a while just to show that you can have some fun with leccy too. But this is off-road.

I thought the words "on road" and "bashers" were mutually exclusive ;-)

Where abouts in Basingstoke? I can get there relatively cheaply on the train may have to buy me an off road car for a spot of bashing there's a few good places in Andover for off-road I reckon.

I live in Southampton but work in Andover, so a bash in either place would be great for me.

What sort of terrain do you go for? Currently I usually just take mine to the Common and run it up and down the gravel paths there, there's a few little jumps as well, although I always seem to break the car on every bash. Latest one - I've lost the little tensioner thingy that screws the gear to the motor spindle. The bit that you tighten with a tiny allen key. Just fell off, and I've had the gear box apart, but it's not in there. Weird.
