Hello

Tamiya will release new 1/16 Panzer IV Ausf.J RC tank! I wondered if it will be better quality and build than other tamiya tank eg. panther - heard about lot of problems with it.

Will it worth to buy it?

I have ordered Tamiya 1/16 M26 Preshing RC tank and wondered if it have any problems with tracks etc. I hope to buy some upgrades from Tankzone for it.

I have been building Leopard 2A6 and it was so hard work to buiild, it was nice looking tank and the sound was very loud!

Hard to answer, as it is not released yet so nobody can test-build it

There aren't even scoop-pictures to be found yet :D

The problems with the panther are over-rated, the nitpicking scale builders have some trouble with

lack of detail in certain parts. ( like the all mighty barrel cleaner-rod-holding-case lacking a underside )

That is tru for detail, oviously seen when you would be overrun with the tank & look at the right angle.

Pershing has no track problems, only problems to make the turret rotate due the tight fit of the wires

in the small space.

Just a bit dissepointed in Tamiya that they released another nazi tank,

Would have prefered something modern or not german.

You know.. something... diffrent!

There so many nice tanks ( if you can call a war machine that ) out there,

Mekerva, PZH2000, Russian T-72.

Will see, do glad there comming up with another tank :(

I reply to this knowing nothing of Tamiya tanks, except they are cool

I am a fan of historical tanks but being a long time player of Battlefield 2 (not for a while though) If Tamiya was to release a modern tank I think it would be the tipping point to convince me to fork out the $$$ to buy one.

How about an APC? Now I would go for that! :(

For myself, would go for about anything :)

Fennek would be very nice, or one of his 3 or 4 axel family members.

Maybe a -odd- system like the MLRS or .. a 1/16 wheel or tracked loader.

< would be nice to match with the 1/14 rigs to B) >

Re-release Gepard , maybe with a couple of 1A2 updates.

All sweet dreams, but were stuck with 60 year old models for now.

Yes, i will buy & build it with joy .. but.. if i could pick...

Definately a cool idea, an easy way to blow a couple of grand in one visit to the LHS :)

You actually get to drive them? how cool is that! B) Gee, if I did that for work then an r/c tank would be at the top of my list!
