Worst: Kyosho Sandmaster EZ. Things that I can't appreciate are the lack of ground clearance under the rear end, the plastic pinion and the not dustproof spur gear cover.

Best: Mad Bull. Honestly it's not that nice with low-turn brushed motors (overheats) and NiMH batteries (gets sucked dry fast). But once fitted with a 2500 kV brushless motor and high capacity LiPo packs, the fun begins and doesn't stop too fast.

worst Tamiya: stadium raider ,no matter how many hop ups you could throw at that thing it was still poo funny watching the chassis melt.

worst overall : hpi nitro rs4 ,admitidly I did get I 2nd hand but after getting a new engine and all kinds of parts to make it right I never enjoyed it and sold up.

best Tamiya: hands down Castrol celica ,I drove the wheels off that ta02 chassis and being a kid when I owned it there wasn't much in the way of hop ups used ,it simply worked time and time again.my original one got pinched along with my manta ray ,dirt thrasher and ta02 mustang but I now have a new built celica and manta ray in my collection still working on the others.

best overall: I know many will disagree here but its a t maxx ,I have had the thing for roughly 8 years and sure ive spent a small fortune on it but it is a fun truck to use it will always be my go to nitro ,I do have a small problem ,I gots 7 of them and Im always on the hunt for a new one lol

The worst RC i ever owned was a Kyosho Progress 4WDS. It was a pain in all possible ways. The chain system was unrealiable. The suspension was no good and getting spare parts was virtually impossible, and i am talking late 80's.

My best RC is definately my Top Force. Runs like a devil and no issues. apart from my TA04, the other ones i run only sporadically.

I think I'm going to make a lot of AE fanboys mad. My absolute worst RC car was my RC10GT RTR. If I called it a POS it would offend all the other POS. This was when AE changed their manufacturing from US to Taiwan (Thunder Tiger is their supplier before the takeover). The engine was terrible, the radio gear was awful, and almost every screw hole was stripped from being over tightened from factory. The brake adaptor was plastic so that melted. The ball diff is set incorrectly from factory so that melted. AE was so cheap the clutch didn't even have springs so it would continue to drag at idle and eventually melted. I won't even go into the suspension pieces that broke just by breathing on it. I basically rebuilt the truck ground up with HG, Trinity, Lunsford, and RPM pieces to get any kind of reliability. I refitted a new engine and put in Futaba gear but by that time I moved on to a new car.

Best car? A lot of my cars were pretty awesome but the best build is probably my original TRF414. Parts quality is top notch, the design is fantastic and it just put the biggest smile on my face when I completed it. The natural aluminum finish on the bulkhead and setting wheels just made it look all business. Sold it years ago but luckily I got another NIB last October and will be building it again.

My best has to be a Kyosho optima mid custom special,It won me many races back in the day in the 4wd class and never let me down, handled fantastic and was controllable in the air.

2nd best has to be the kyosho ultima, won me races in the 2wd class, but the aluminum chassis would bend up snapping the upper plate at the slightest nudge!

Worst car would have to be the Schumacher xtr3e. Quick car,but 3rd gear was made out of cheese, and of course you had to buy the whole gear set.

Most disappointing was the Tamiya frog.Maybe because I saved all my paperound money, birthday money etc etc to buy one to beat my mates hornet, only to find it bounced much the same as a hornet plus striped the splines on the driveshafts regularly!

The holiday buggy was another, didn't realise it had a 380 motor, and when you fit a 540,it strips the gears.Even tried fireworks to make it quicker!

Most of the modern stuff I have is good( although my df03 does break alot),brushless and lipos take care of the speed and battery life issues.
