For short wheelbase, I have a different solution :) I have flipped the gearbox and designed an adapter to mate what used to be where the rear bumper attached to the chassis. In the builds section there's a topic of the M04 I build with it.

I also really like your solution with the ABS plates :) Besides changing the wheelbase, it could also allow you to get to the servo much easier and also change the battery position (and make square lipopacks fit). The two layers make it look really cool too. Good job ;)

Very nice work, glad you came back to sort out a way to unlock the thread and add the creation to it. Very nice and I hope to figure out how to get my Mk1 Golf body onto an M-01 chassis correctly, one day.
