Tizer 296 Posted January 24, 2015 For short wheelbase, I have a different solution I have flipped the gearbox and designed an adapter to mate what used to be where the rear bumper attached to the chassis. You can buy it here at Shapeways: https://www.shapeways.com/product/2XRLQYFTK/tamiya-m04rr-conversion-spacer?li=user-profile&optionId=40576759 In the builds section there's a topic of the M04 I build with it.I also really like your solution with the ABS plates Besides changing the wheelbase, it could also allow you to get to the servo much easier and also change the battery position (and make square lipopacks fit).
