I doing so work on the my Blackfoot, and instead of fitting the standard black sunroof panel, I was thinking it would be cool to have a transparent tinted sunroof instead.

Does anyone know if the sun roof in either Clod Buster or Midnight Punkin windows would be a good match for the blackfoot body ?

I figure they are the best option as the are easily available, so I can afford to cut one up to fit. If not I guess I just need to find a tinted windows from another kit with a larger enough flat pane to cut a sunroof size peice out of.

The original Ranger that used that shell had a clear sunroof (well, the Ranger body I had did, once). But, really, some thick lexan would do the trick.

If yours did then it had a custom made one. The oem sunroof for the ranger is a solid panel identical to the Blackfoots but molded in blue plastic.

A sunroof from the pumpkin and clod are too small.

I don't know if it fits, you can still order the tinted glass for a king blackfoot from Tamiya. My LHS got me in that parts tree earlier this year. At around $14 (and a couple of months wait), its worth a try.
