Help. Crazy Cr01 Electronics !

Okay. just got my new 7.2 volt 4600 mah nimh pack charged. plugged it into the CR01 and it ran about 45 seconds before the electronics went nuts.

I lose all steering after about 30 seconds and then the wheel turning to the left on the radio actually activates the reverse function on the esc ?!?!?!

stats:

ESC - Tamiya TEU-302BK

Servo - Cirrus CS701/BB 9 KG High Power Servo

TLU-01 LED LIght Kit

7.2 volt Intellect 4600 mah nimh Battery

Traxxas TQ RAdio & Receiver from the new E-Maxx

Dynamite ac/dc vision peak 2 charger

Any ideas ? The battery was fresh off the charger. I also tried an old 7.v 3600 nimh Venom battery. Same thing no steering after 30 seconds ?!?!

unplug the light kit and retest

TQ3 is 27 mhz and can be prione to glitch, is the esc far enough away from the reciever and antenna?

Sounds like either a electronics incompatibility, or a reciever glitch disrupting the signal completely.

Well - problem resolved. Replaced the Cirrus servo with a stock Futaba. Works like a charm now . Thanks for your response billg4.

Beats me - I replaced it and everything worked straight away ! I believe that this cirrus servo has caused me grief in a few other trucks now that I think about it - soon it will be destroyed . Thanks for the help fellas.
