Luke_87 0 Posted June 1, 2008 Ive got x2 hornet gearbox/axles that I'm running on my current project. My problem is that its to highly geared, I'm running 70t motors but they easily stall, I was thinking that if I could drop down from the (13t?) pinion from the hornet to the 10t pinion for the lunch box I would be well away. I realize to change from the hornet to the 'old' lunchbox you need the collar adapter, (one axle was originally a '80s' pumpkin so I have one). Do the re-release lunchbox's use the same collar? or do they mount differently? The reason I think they mount differently is that I've got a screw bag from the re-release lunchbox and it seemed to use x2 long screws to hold the motor in place rather than the screw to collar method cheers Luke
B.M.T. 127 Posted June 1, 2008 Yes, my chrome pumpkin has the motor spacer and long pinion of days gone. The only thing to be aware of, is how much closer this brings the motor to the inside of the r/h tyre.

markbt73 5290 Posted June 2, 2008 Just looked at the re-re LB manual. It's the D parts. The motor spacer is D2.
