I had just finished the paint last weekend. Its Testors ModelMaster Laquer Ultraviolet Pearl and Intence Blue Pearl. It has had the electronics upgraded to a HPI ESavage ESC with dual Reedy 3600 7 cells pumping out 16.8v and a ACE S2008 MG servo. The motors are the stock J-540's for now, however the rear bumper was removed for a more custom look and I made the wheelie bar from 1/2" alum strips 6/32 all thread, collets, aluminum tube and aircraft tires. It spends more time on the wheelie bar then on the front tires. :( I also just installed a Hot Racing Aluminum locker in the rear, front is still open. 8 TLT shocks help smooth out the ride. I love this truck, but plan to do some work to the chassis layout with some different links.

Very nice! :)

Get some 550 motors soon, though. 540's don't like that much juice.

Thanks Dan, I do plan on getting some Titan 550's for it sometime soon, they are cheap and the ESC can handle the 23 turns.

Thanks for the heads up. I hope to change out the stock arms for a more forgiving true 4 link someday, but I plan to keep the stock chassis. I used to have a crawler but going slow isnt for me, I love the speed of my Clod, now to improve the handling. Too many Clods are canabilized for crawlers!!!

Just watch out as some 550 cans are too long and rub against the clods stock suspension arm.

Agreed, I managed to fit a couple of 550 HPI motors in my standard Clod but they severley restricted the suspension movement so I have now taken them out. The speed was awesome with 14.4v though.
