Hello everybody :( I am torn here. I just added my Hilux to Ebay yesterday with the hopes of selling it as one piece to someone as a nice collector piece. Within a few hours of lsiting it, someone emailed me and said that it would be alot better to seperate the body and mechanism box and sell them seperatly from what I believe he is referring to when he says chassis as the: chassis, transmission, axles, speed box, etc. Basically everything but the body, wheels, mechanism box and what's inside the mechanism box. He said with the condition that the chassis is in it would bring exactly the same with or without all that stuff. Here is a pic of what it curently looks like as well as the link to the auction. what do you think?

Ebay: 1981 Tamiya Toyota Hilux 4X4 #58028

Does it bring more complete or seperate? I have been watching ebay lately and it seems as though these trucks are selling complete for $600 more or less and they don't look nearly as nice as this. Could this bring $1000 or more in this condition as complete as it is now? (just asking, not holding anyone to it) Any quick help would be greatly appreciated.

Well, I'd say it's just a matter of time. If you sell it complete maybe it will rise between 700 or 800 USD, maybe 1000. If you sell it by parts it may sell for much more. But that may take some time. My two cents.

Best of luck with the sale!
