G'day,

I have a new built AYK Viper, but the instructions (which quite frankly, are terrible!!) don't show how/where to attach the resistors of the mechanical speed control. Obviously since resistors get red hot, they can't just be zip-tied to the pipe frame or anything plastic. But every option I consider seems risky. If anyone has a Viper and has done this, could I see a picture?

Also, when putting the tyres on the wheels, they need to be glued. Is there any particular glue I should use for that? The wheels have no backing on them, so the tyres just slide on (very different to Tamiya wheels). The glue would need to be flexible and strong. I'm not sure if super glue is good enough (due to brittleness).

Any advice appreciated.

cheers,

H.

Ahh. That suggests there's 2 versions of the manual. Mine is only 10 pages in total (2 of which are wasted with an exploded view diagram) and contains none of that step 15 detail :)

Mystery solved, thanks for the link!

cheers,

H.
