The top pieces that hold the rear body posts have both broken off. Thanks to my son.

Since most of my cars are on display most of the time due to no time to run them, I would prefer to have an intact piece with which I can properly place my Subaru Impreza WRC 2003 body!

Mine broke in exactly the same position. What I did I super-glued it back together, then I went round the edges of the snap with the glue and it seems to hold up well.

i already threw the broken pieces out and do not believe in supergluing. Does anyone HAVE the part in question?

Any decent Tamiya stockist will have them

Note the type E parts are only one sprue, the standard TT-01 parts include front and rear parts.

hi there, try on ebay, they pretty cheap, and normally u get the front and rear gear casings, so u have a spare.

i have 2 sets on the bay @ 4 or 5 quid, if i recall.

Thanks all - well aware of where I can buy them new.

I was just hoping, as someone who has had spares that people needed and sent them off for cost of shipping only in the past, that the good karma of TC would come up with a spare part in someone's bin that they would be willing to part with.

I am still holding out hope as the TT-01 is quite common and someone must have an extra used A2 laying about (especially with the upgrades being made to the new E version!).

PM recieved. I totally agree! Most members know about L.H.Shops and eBay, but I think a dedicated club like this should be more "old fashion". Time and money isn't everything always. Sometimes it feels good to help without endless focus on dollars, euros. pounds etc. Luckily members in general are very helpful on the forum giving advices, hints and tips. Thanks alot for that!

About the part: it leaves the post office tomorrow and can take up to 10 days to arrive. Good luck with your car(s) and please let me know when you recieve the part!
