Wish Lists...

Hi guys, I thought I would start a thread about things we would like (Please don't copy/ paste Tamiyas model line in here!). So we can debate which one to get if you're on a limited budget and there's more than one contender. OR if like me you've been intending to buy for ages, but never gotten round to it! [For me it's a NIB Re-re Pajero, I have a bearing set ready for it too!!]. Yesterday I aquired a Losi desert truck for bashing as I want something I can beat up and not get too guilty about. 150 from my LHS and comes with a spektrum- type 2.4Ghz radio!

I'd really like another go at nitro and always fancied a Revo, but then there's the E-Revo...

I also miss my 3 speed....

Plus a tank would be a laff....

And now I have my Scania I feel the need for more trailers...

But then I change my mind more ofter than my pants!

Ryan I'm just like you, I see stuff on the net and think "I HAVE TO HAVE THAT!" - put it at the top of my wishlist - and then a week later, I impulse-buy something totally different off the 'bay.

Right now my collection is very focussed on a particular project that I'm working on, so I'm trying to only buy things I can use for that project. But sometimes I see something special, and I deliberately re-write bits of the project to fit it in

Anyway, my wishlist is currently as follows:

1) Touareg for a pimped-out KBF-bodied crawler (already have the body, just need the chassis!)

2) Toyota MR-S (TA04-SS) custom-sprayed for my tuner car collection

3) Primera FF01 for runner/tuner collection (already have a beautiful new-built shelfer and don't dare run it!)

4) TT01 Skyline for tuner car collection

Many more that last week I was going mad for and this week I can't even remember...

1) Pajero Re-re (LWB conversion)

2) F350 High Lift

3) Vanessa's Lunchbox (Different Body, dunno yet)

4) MO4L chassis (For the Lunchbox body)

5) The Fox (Re-re please Mr.Tamiya so I'm not scared to drive it)

6) WIld One (So realistic)

7) TB Evo5 chassis

8) DT-02 (VW Baja beetle body, most likely a MT2 beetle body)

9) More bodies and lots of hopups!

Just a few to keep me busy.

that would be easy, I just want the old 3 spd Hilux and Blazer, but the current ebay prices...maybe if I sold all my RC collections I can put a deposit down.

also all the 1/16 WWII German tanks,

the 1/14 trucks and trailors are nice but they take up so much room, so is off my wish list.

I now have six Tamiyas. Two BlackFoots, one Monster Beetle, one Midnight Pumpkin, one Saint Dragon, and the Toyota "Lift-e-nieer".

But if I had to have my wishes come true, even though I enjoy things much more when they're hard to get, I will say that (in no particular order) I'd like to have...

Ermmm...

- Sand Scorcher

- Blazing Blazer

- Toyota 4x4 Bruiser

- Orig. Clodbuster (or Bullhead)

- King Hauler

The day I get all these my obsession will come full-circle. Now, since I know I'll never have these ones, I can just relax and go ahead with my Tamiya fascination...

My wish list:

1. A TB-01 Chassis (With LA Arms and home-made shock tower extensions for a ridiculous suspension travel).

2. An M03 Chassis (With TL01 Arms and home-made shock tower extensions for a decent suspension travel suited for rallying. I would also want to convert it to RWD).

The rest is a mystery. This is because I am buying a Schumacher Mission 2 this summer (from a friend) and I have several rally cars and a scorcher. At the same time I also have a Mercedes C11, which are quite conflicting types of cars... So what turns out to be the most fun over time might decide what my next cars on the list will be (Serious ground clearance and monstrous offroad tires or serious tarmac and tire trashers)?

Like most of you guys my wishlist is constantly changing. However the last few weeks the car on top of the list stayed the same, my wishlist (in order) is:

1) The Hilux Highlift

2) Another Celica GT4 (repsol or castrol)

3) A TA05 IFS R

4) A Wild Willys Wheeler resto project

5) A Wild One

6) .......

7) etc

Only the Highlift will be reality soon and with a scaler being quite expensive the rest will only exist in my dreams..

There are 3 vintage vehicles I'd like to eventually get: Blackfoot or Monster Beetle, Wild One or FAV, and any pre-B2 RC10. Restoration projects to turn into nice clean runners, even if they aren't 100% "correct."

I'd also like a more modern vehicle for some serious bashing, something good suspension travel and a body shell that I don't care if it gets ruined. I'm still trying to make up my mind.

And a Mini-T or Tamtech buggy to drive at lunchtime would be cool.

And I want to convert my whole fleet to 2.4 GHZ.

LOL! That would set me back the cost of a load more projects- Gonna stick with my old skool 27Mhz for a good while yet. The way I see it If everyone else goes to 2.4 I won't have to worry about crystals anyway!!

i just ordered a traxxas slash [sorry, i just couldn't help myself. some evil person posted a comment somewhere that had the line, "just hit the red button; the big red button" or something like that. that just kept going through my mind and the only way to make it stop was to hit the big red button.

the list was longer once, but i have dramatically reconsidered what i want and why. the biggest deal now is that i have to really, truly believe that i will use it. not having a place or enough time to go somewhere special to run it has stopped me from buying several models that i really do like. and the time/expense to build has rather put me off a tank for the time being. maybe someday? i love the models i've got and love the fact i can step into the back yard or driveway to run most of them.

They are indeed stupid fun. What's funny about them is yes, they tip over, but they tend to land back on their wheels and keep going once you get the hang of them.

Best ever WW2 stunt: 1.) Install cheap 15t motor. 2.) Go full speed in reverse. 3.) Hit full speed forward. 4.) Watch as car does complete back-flip and lands on its wheels. Giggle insanely. 5.) Carefully balance throttle to hold a wheelie after it lands. 6.) Take a bow to the oohs and aahs of onlookers.

Rats... Now I want another one. OK, add a WW2 to my list.

Ooh, the Hirobo jealosy... Nice! I saw one of them for sale here on TC, it was gone quite quickly! And from the pics it looked like a great car, I think I understand why you would want one... And I don't recognize most of the other cars, I'm mostly only into tamiya
