Hi all,

I now use a 35Mhz 2CH transmitter (Futaba Atack).

Since I want to start with airplanes in a few years I am considdering buying a 2.4GhZ radio. It has to be stick offcourse.

Question is now:

- Can you drive cars with these radios? I can imagine that since you can move the sticks both ways it will be hard?

- What is your experience with Futaba on these radios since I'm not willing to pay more than US$ 250,- for something like this (is the Futaba 6EX any good??)

Thanks for your replies!

You can buy or fabricate templates to put on the transmitter for car usage, to limit to the stick to move in just 1 dimension, per stick.

My dad uses a showbiz 7channel 2.4ghz transmitter from his helicopter on his car also. Just made up a couple of plastic discs with slots in.
