Wild One Lexan Question

ok guys just bought a used wild one.the laxan is in good condition with a not so good paint job.can the paint be removed?or could i just paint the outside?also,i heard someone on here sells repro lexan for the wild one,any info?

Yes the paint can be removed by using old nitro fuel - not brake fluid or the like as it will damage (cloud) the lexan.Yes you can paint the outside ,but the end result will depend on how good the prep work is ,the type of paint used and the long term use / abuse the body shell is put to .I have also recently seen a repro W/O shell for sale ,but i cant remember who was selling it.

Try brushing as a test to see how stubborn the paint is .It should come off pretty easily ,
