Come on tamiya club members i am desperate for help! [:(]Am new to nitro and only bought my tgs 3 months ago and have only run about a gallon of fuel but my car is having to have its second flywheel i have been told this goes to protect the engine but what is going wrong please help me as i am seriously concidering selling it and going back to electric power which has never let me down! Keep on racing! Marsy [:P]

flywheel lose-up and if un-notice will cause trouble and eventually needs having flywheel replaced. Not sure if that's

your case as your description is too brief.

The only thing ppl concern about TGS is it's lack of upgrade,

and lack of a 2-speed transmittion as it's pretty standard with other gas-powered touring cars.

What has actually gone wrong with the flywheel?

Like MB190E says, the only problem newbies have is it coming lose.

Always use threadlock on the nut, and don't be affriad to tighten it up good.

Once tight, can you move the crank in and out a tad?

I had this same problem of the flywheel coming loose with my TG10,

as i'm sure you will find the thread lock works well as Steve said!!

I think there is a design flaw with the fs12 engine as when i eventually upgraded the motor to a ofna force one i never had this problem again[8D]

Also the light weight flywheel was much better if you havn't already got one...
