For the little amount they are worth, I'm almost game to give one a try, I just can't decide between the Datsun 1200 ute, coupe or the Toyota Vitz (Yaris)!.

I have some Mini drift tyres waiting for one!.

Also, at the 8" wheelbase, I often thought the Datsun 1200 ute would make a tuff body for a Midnight Pumpkin :)

I agree, they are very cool looking bodys, the chassis looks very duarable as well. Price for the kit isnt bad, but the shipping is 1/4-1/3 the cost :)

Yeah, whether it be Jason's Store or Dinball, you pay $120-$150 for the kit and $50 to freight it.

Still, that's the same price as a M-03 with plain bushings, po-go sticks and an open diff unshipped.

When I recover from my latest shopping spree, I think it has to be done :) :)

Oh, they also do a Mugen tuned Honda Getz, with roof top wing, carbon hood decal and a chromed canon!.

Fast and the Furious pygmy styl-ee :D

I bought the Traveller (Counrtyman)one, fitted a Nosram brushless system and Orion Lipo in it,what a laugh virtually undrivable,Ended up hitting the curb at an insane speed and snapping the chassis in half, cheap repair though at 15 for a new chassis and that was the only damage, plus it did keep going.I reckon a 19 turn or equiv would be plenty of power for this kit.

You get a lot of car for the money and the bodys are close to Tamiya quality, stickers are not quite as good as Tamiya.

Dinball(RC Mart) carry good stock of spares.

Twisty, did your's come with bearings?. Nothing anywhere seems to indicate either way, but these days it seems that Tamiya and Kyosho are the only companies that stand by bushings...

I folded, ordered the Vitz from Dinball this afternoon. I have a 3Racing full light kit, and Actopower Formula motor and a set of Mini drift tyres waiting for it to arrive. Should give the Sydney RC drifters something to larf at.

I think the genetic is the old chassis, now replaced by A210S, or, is that from a different company? Try checking ABC's website.

( you can try babelfish for a translation of the japanese pages)

No, the A210SS is from Active Hobby, not ABC. The Genetic is still ABCs current mini chassis.

We race indoors on a Monday night, and these fellas are fairly popular there ( 3 guys have them) and race them in the super mini class. (M chassis, any motor/ battery). They win (being 4wd) so as a result more and more people are looking at them.

I personally prefer bouncing my mini off walls to setting up 4wd chassis' :)

Well, I have my Yaris/Vitz/Echo (depending on where you're reading this), and I'm well happy. I was really surprised at the build quality of such an inexpensive model. Then I noticed all the footnote thanks from ABC to Team Atlas :)
