Stock Mabuchi motor

What turn is the stock mabuchi 540 motor ?

Is the Traxxas Stinger motor a great improvement for mabuchi motor ?

I would like to replace me mabuchi with stinger motor, so far I was using 7 cell packs for my truck. Got faster result but wanna try Stinger which I expect will give me even better result.

Any opinions ? or maybe Traxxas Titan motor is better ?

Application would be on the Tamiya Mighty Bull, Super Rooster ESC, full bearings, 7 cells pack.

Stock Mabuchi is a 27 turn. A Traxxas stinger is a 20 turn. It should be a little stronger. I don't think it would be a huge improvement. Something like a P2K2 or Chameleon or speed gems should be a bigger improvement. We upgraded a Stinger to a P2K2 in a Traxxas Stampede and it was a big improvement.

A Traxxas titan is a 550 sized motor, be sure it fits in your mighty bull.

Im sure it will fits too, but whats about the voltage ?

I thought the Titans are for 14,4 volts ?

Or the max is 14,4 volts and I still can use it with 8,4 volts (7 cells) ?

I think you should have a look at the specs of this motor, because Traxxas probably has specified the voltage range this motor can handle. Do you have a manual of it? Most of the times the manual will give info about these things.

A Titan would fit but running on less than 14.4v would be dog slow. Stinger would be a better bet but as bholio says, you'd be better with a rebuildable stock like the P2K2
