Hello All,

Long time no post. Been real busy with real life until our friend Vincent reminded me how much fun RC can be. After talking to him I decided to build one more body. This is the Tamiya Japanese Police Skyline. The cockpit is provide by our friend Andy in this very forum.

I hope you like.

man that is cool! here is my police car, not sure how it compares to a real german police car and i have nowhere near the modelling ability you have but i like it. was trying to get a need for speed most wanted look. it has red blue flashing leds mounted inside the windscreen behind the motorsprt sign.

Nice body one the bimmer.

The skyline is exception though. I am sure I have seen your work before and the way you get the stance right really impresses me. The wheel and arch gaps are spot on. Thats what lets a lot of the poly carb bodies down, including the bimmer sadly. I know my swift is similar.

also my bimmer is a 200mm on a 190mm. Was only intended as a basher but got a little carried away. Certainly doesn't look like that now! i know what you mean tho about the arches, and its nowhere near as good as victorious secrets stuff. Man my eyes popped out when i saw that!

Your Camel Celica GT4 is the best Rally car I have ever seen . If you ever want to sell it let me know.

Job well done.

PS the skyline is not that bad either lol

Thank you so much for the kind words gentlemen,

I've always like the distinctive black and white of the police car. This is my second one lol (the first one is the Nissan 280). I want to build a California Highway Patrol in the future... unfortunately there are no decals for it yet.

I did a Volvo T5 estate, West Yorkshire liveryd cop car a few years ago,to make the logo`s on the sides of the car i actually photographed the 1:1 cop car, then i developed the photos, then peeled the card of the photo down to as thin as poss, carefully cut round them and stuck them on the car with clear vynil,it looked pretty good.caused at stirr at the race track.

Brother Deejay's BMW police car looks great! I've always want to build the Euro cop as well. They got the most luxurious cars as police cars in the world! Like those Mercedes Police car~

Brother Dazza,

Thank you for your interest. At one point of time I was going to sell it. However now I decide to keep it

Dude that Skyline rocks! I'm not a fan of police style RCs but yours is really stunning. Great job (again)! It's an honour bringing you back to Tamiya .

Stunning work, if I can make one car that nears this for execution I'll be a happy man.

Also whats the purpose of the plexi glass "screen" on the 1:1?

Thank you guys!!

Brother Vincent:

Oh yeah... I'm constantly getting inspired by your rally cars. BTW, I finally got all 3 types of Rally Celica. 1 Marloro Celica, 2 Repsol celicas and a Castrol Celica!!!

Brother Mosiac:

I asked someone once and he told me it's a digital "screen" to tell traffic condition and other important communication from the police station. Can anyone varify that?
