Nikko Desert Racer

Anyone remember this?? My friend had one, he got it in 1995. It was a red stadium style 1/16 scaler. It was very cool looking with yellow coated springs, obviously modelled on more expensive Kits. It had a 7.2 V battery pack included. Not particulary fast as I remember my Tyco Hijacker 9.6V eating it. It was

way better build than my then Tyco.

There was also a higher performance version called SupeDesert Racer 9.6V, it was blue and a pretty big Nikko, 1/10 or 1/12 scale not sure..

Both were rear wheel drive..
