Help Me Find A Kyosho!

I'm trying to find the identity of a Kyosho Buggy which I really wanted back in the early 90's. All i remember was that is was a cheap 2wd nitro/petrol buggy. It was reviewed in RCMC magazine back then and the review car had a yellow body.. I know it's not much to go on but has anyone got any clues?

I'm guessing Sandmaster too. The Assault is a good guess too but I think those were a little more expensive.

Could it have been a Kyosho Stinger or the Stinger 2 - great looking cars - I fancied one of them back in the day! Try out this webpage VintageRCweb Adverts - loads of vintage ads for RC cars - you'll hopefully spot the one you drooled over all those years ago. Another good site for vintage RCs is RcMagVintage - Scroll through that lot and hopefully something will leap out as being the one.

I haven't seen this car in aaages.. I'll have to stick that one on the want list with everything else. this was the first I.C. car i seriously wanted back in the day.

Well, if you can't find the original you could build one pretty close and easy by starting from a tower hobbies st15.

The buggy wheels and the ultima2 body are about the only main differences to the rampage
