I modified my LB steering to centralise the steering servo, but I did it a little differently.

By trimming the servo post & drilling one additional hole I moved the servo sideways so the output shaft is central.

Two new steering rods, 55mm long are needed but that's all.

The steering is now balanced left & right, but the steering is never that great on these anyway.

Getting these things to steer is more of a technique.

Let the power off so the front wheels touch the ground. Turn in the direction you want to go so it shifts the weight slightly to the outside rear wheel. Touch the brakes and the unloaded wheel will lock and then power on again and it will turn in very quickly, if it doesn't tip over.

Trying to turn with the power on with mine has no effect on the direction it's travelling at all, my front wheels aren't touching the ground. Gotta love the MambaMax :P

Cheers, Mark
