Indoor (and More) N/west / Derbyshire Meeting

Been away from the RC scene for a while, back now so....

I have use of a large wooden floored dance room, with bar

Anybody fancy a nice dry indoor meet??

There is a large tarmac car park for the nitro stuff and a field if you fancy having a go at flying something (brave in this weather)

I can sort out bar snack (chips and the-like) if wanted, theres a pool table and 2 snooker tables for the "keeping the kids happy" element and a juke box

Its near Buxton (about 40 mins south of Stockport)

There used to be a local i.e village Rc car club held there, but once they realised all the cheap cars ran on the same frequency it fizzled out

So nope, its not a problem, plus we'll have the place to ourselves anyway.

Well after a heated and time consuming debate last night we have had the official go a head for this.

So I'm thinking a sunday morning around 10ish.

Any date people CAN'T do??

Sorry to hear that Si.

If nobody else has a problem with Saturdays i'll see what i can do.

The only problem i have is the fact i work Friday nights and don't get back till 6am

I'd be interested in an indoor meet. I work every other weekend so if it fell on the weekend i was off i'd try to get there.

Well i guess its going to be a runwhatyabrung type affair, can't see much serious racing taking place

Although i'm sure we could mark out a track with some rope or something.

I'm really more used to organising days out for slightly larger vehicles so any suggestions/request?

Marking out a basic track indoors might be a good idea, old fire hoses are pretty good for this. Might save a few head on collisions!!

I've got on road, and off road stuff, so can go with the flow. Would be pretty cool to give my old Losi XXXS a run though.

There is no reason why i couldn't, just down to who is interested really. The venue is going nowhere

Hey everyone hows things, so how many of us are going, never thought to ask, how much do you want for the use of the venue and will there be a snack bar for us with kids etc. do you know off many people from over your way that may attend.
