Vapex Batteries

Recommended Posts

I am amazed at the price of these batteries, but.....whats the catch?

Theres a 4300mAH for just under 20 http://www.amazon.co.uk/VAPEX-4300mAh-Radi...9380&sr=8-5

and a 3700mAH for just over 12. http://www.amazon.co.uk/VAPEX-3700mAh-Radi...9380&sr=8-2

Is there a catch or is it just a bargain? Ive seen on a video description on youtube that the 3700 lasted for AGES on a tt-01 drifter so all seems ok.

Anyone got any info on these?

Thanks.

I got a Vapex 4300 pack i use in my Hilux Scaler with a 35t motor i get nearly 60 minutes on a full charge.

Good batteries in my experience but i haven't tried them with a hot motor so couldn't pass a comment there.

You pays your money you takes your chance.

I'm more than happy with mine and wouldn't hesitate to get some more in the future.

I have 2 pairs of 4400mah 8.4v for use in my E-Maxx and they are absolutely superb (check out the video's in my showroom and the Yeovil Meet video's in Richytanimal's showroom). It keeps up with his Nitro Force monster truck!

Also run 4 x 3300mah older ones in my Brushless Top Force and also in my Dyna Storm plus other cars (again, video's in my showroom).

Plenty of punch, excellent run-times and brilliant value for money.

Paul (the guy who runs the UK Vapextech arm) is absolutely superb. On my recommendation he has made packs for Mini-T and RC18T. He is currently building saddle-packs for the Mini Inferno. Don't know the guy other than from buying his batteries but support is superb and his willingness to try new things amazed me. Had 1 pack blow a single cell (due to the extremely high current draw of the E-Maxx) and it was replaced immediately without any fuss, including return postage paid for (he sent a return envelope)...

My 3300mah cells have been used more than 100 times each in various cars. They still take 3300+ (except when I didn't lok after them - but even then they came straight back up to full capacity on a few cycles).

Can't ask for more than good value, decent cells and superb customer service!!!!

Steve

Hi I use these batteries and these are superb. I use them on my Mamba Max 7700Kv brushless set (replaced the Tamiya plug) and it works very well, there where my brand new Intellect battery blew on the first run! I also use the 2s and 3s Lipo sets of Vapextech and I think these are the same value for money.

Another satisfied Vapex customer here - I have two 3300mah batteries and they last about 2 1/2 hours in my High lift with a 45t motor!

Im planning on running a 16 or 17 turn motor so fully charging them should last a while. Any suggestions on a charger for 25 or less?
