It was an impulse offer I dropped onto ebay after a few beers and a chinese.

It hasn't arrived yet but is apparently unpainted but stickered up. Nevermind I am not a fan of the stock shell, does it share a chassis with anything else? Could a repro s/s body be fitted?

Is it just a big steaming heap?

Uh oh ... :lol:

Yes ... but the Mad Fighter is just as ugly, and as for the Fighter Buggy ... You'll need quite a few more beers for _that_ to look attractive :lol:

s/s ? as in Sand Scorcher? Excellent idea - but you'll have to make up your own body mounts (not too hard).

Very primitive no frills buggy that you can flog to death - oil shocks help, but those big tires are the biggest part of the suspension I think. :)

I've got a mad fighter and a fighter buggy and they both handle like crapola and they tip over for no apparent reason. Still, they put a smile on my face.

i've just finished mine, got it as a well cheap basher but decided to make it a little more crazy,

i'd put a 23t motor in there, i can recommend a 19t pinion, and some oil shocks.

other than that, stand back and try to control the thing until you realise thta you cant.

have fun mate.

Well its arrived;

Several things the seller forgot to mention though. The aerial on the tx is bust, the battery clip is missing as were a fair few essencial screws, oh and I think the charger false peaks beacuse I've had about 5 mins playtime with it so far! Grr...

Still i've made it so the steering and throttle work the right way. so hopefully i'll get some use from it. Failing that i'll nick the radio gear and put it into something less pony.
