Anyone Want To Bash Nr Deal Kent?

Hi all,

I live in Ash nr Sandwich, Kent and wondered if anyone local wants to meet up for bashing anytime. Would also consider Canterbury way or Dover?

I am new into this and have a pumpkin with a fire dragon on the way (brushless ).

I have started going to Fowl mead, some good jumps there. But it is restricted to electric only.

Surely there must be someone? OK, more about me. I am male 28, just got into Tamiya, although I have always wanted Tamiya cars since I was 7. Now I have the cars I am looking for someone who is happy to go bashing now and then and find new locations.

How foul is Foul mead, or are we talking about Fowlmead? (http://www.fowlmead.co.uk/nakedmap.pdf) Regardless, it's not easy inspiring others to meet up for various reasons (which I don't quite understand). If you're familiar with the place, perhaps take and upload a few photos of the terrain etc, do a Google Earth link, or target those in the Kent area specifically.

I'm afraid it's too far away from me, although I might be tempted by the BMX track (with no BMXers), but good luck.

Hi all, I am still determined to find myself a bashing buddy down here. To help my plight I have taken some shots of todays Fowl Mead Tamiya Bash! -Yeah, still only 1 dedicated member!

Had a cracking time with the Fire Dragon, practicing power slides on the loose surface...until one of the rear shocks popped out! Got some good jumps too (check out the ramps!) some sweet landings and some not so sweet! :wub:

If anyone knows of other/better venues then please post!

Looks like a great bashing site for sure with plenty of scope! Only problem I would have attending a bash here is travelling to the venue. Is there a train line near the site ???

Id have to put a few cars together too...

Thanks for replying to my plea! Yeah, it is a good bashing site, those jumps really test the strength of the cars!!! -Is that a good thing ?????!!!!!!!!!!!

The nearest train line is Deal station, I could pick you up from there. In fairness tho, the train ride would probably be too long to be worthwhile, but up to you.

You just missed a Kent Bash Meet last Sunday. The next one will be posted under the Kent Bash thread in the Meets section. These are normally a lot closer to your neck of the woods.

What cars do you have? And where do you normally bash??
