Tire Id Please

In a lot I got some front ribbed tires (look like buggy fronts). On the package is no manufacturer info but I would like to know what these tires are for. The label says: "Tire front ribbed, for wheel nr 01420, item nr 6316". Text on the sidewalls: Ultra Grip 1400

Does anybody has a clue what these tires are for?

A photo would be handy, but the 6316 number sounds like Associated. Just a hunch.

6300 series parts were mostly chassis and suspension bits. There was a little bit of a system to AE's numbering but it was not always consistent.

I've also never seen that sidewall logo on any AE tires.... I'm guessing not Team Associated, but have no further help to offer!

I don't think it are Asso tires, I have several Associated tires and all are different in size, these will not fit RC10 wheels. Hope the pics will help to ID these

They look same sort of fitment design as SRB, what inner diameter is the tyre? Could it be they are Old Proline (Im sure I had a set on my sand scorcher a while ago just like that, fair bit wider than stock ones) or CRP tyres?

Inner diameter is 40mm (tire) and 36mm (bead). Outer diameter is 74 mm, width of tire is 28mm.

So basically the inner diameter is 1.5inch, they are looking likely to be aftermarket tyres for a sand scorcher, especially looking at how the bead is just like that of a SS tyre.

I think I had some of those a while back. "Aristocraft" maybe?

You may be right, Blue. Where I was thinking I had seen them was a tiny little photo in an RCCA from the late '80's, on a one page ad for Polk's Aristocraft line up. That had part numbers too.... I guess I've got another thing to research...

Any idea for what car these tires were designed for. Unfortunatly I do not own (yet) any SRB but I can try these tire on a Frog rim. Is that the same dimension as a SRB front-rim?
