Are There Any Model / Rc Shows Etc Coming Up In 2009

I remember a big RC show at one of the race courses ohhhhhh about 10 or so years ago but remember alot of RC planes being there was just wondering if there are any shows or other Model collotors fairs coming up in 2009, Im based in Kent and there are always alot of shows in and around Kent during the summer months but I cant remember seeing any RC / Model events

One of my favourite model shows is the Wings and Wheels event at North Weald (about 20 minutes from the Dartford Tunnel). There aren't that many cars there though, it is mainly airplanes and boats, but it's a good day out. I normally end up impulse buying yet another airplane there each time I go, and none of them have seen any flying time yet! There are sometimes some nice buys in the bring and buy tent too - a couple of years back I saw an original Blackfoot for 20.. See http://www.wingsnwheels.net/ for details.

There's a big show at the Hop Farm in Kent towards the end of summer (September time). Mainly flying but there is all sorts there. Search on the hop farm website for further info. I think the RCExtreme boys were there with their cars. I went up from Southampton last year and it was well worth the trip. There are loads of others across the south but they tend to be mostly flying based with cars as a minority interest.
