Where can 29 be used? Is it Japan specific or something?

I am tempted by my old favourite TX set (KO PROPO) but the seller has it in 29mhz band.

Does anyone know if this is this ok to use in Europe and Asia or not? :D

Thanks!

From what I can find searching the web, 29Mhz is legal in Australia & Singapore. Nowhere else seems to mention it & I know it's not legal in the UK.

Hope this helps (a bit) :D

D'OH!! Thank you. Not alot of good to me then, a few days a year then. Boooooo!

don't think much things (or emergency services) use 29MHz worldwide anyway ;) Heaps of freqs available within the band.

if you need 29M AM xtals... anything from any brand works... if you need help getting them let me know

29M FM KO xtals are hard to find in Oz now... usually just get them straight from HK. Or Hitec usually works in KO too.

hey funny you should bring this up... i dug up all my ancient EX1s to get something with CH3 working

funny US transmitter (labelled 1.55ms) seems to have CH3 disabled! ;) it has the CH3 slider but comes originally with a 2ch RX.

Tried the EX1 PRO... all works ok. Now need to find where some other EX1s have gone haha.
