Just thought I'd post a few pics of my frog - thanks to everyone on Tamiyaclub for their suggestions - hopefully you can see I've put them to good use!

That's one of the best looking frogs I've seen sofar. Great job.

Just curious; why 'ghost'?

I nicknamed one of my own creations 'ghostrider' and wonder if we're on the same line of thoughts :D

EDIT: nevermind , I just noticed the transparent smoke colour of the body. It escaped me on the first look 'cause of the strong reflections

muhaha - saw this in action today, runs great! didn't realise there was so much CF under there

Sadly after 4hrs running... it don't look that pristine anymore.

WOW!!! I love the look of vintage models with a new custom look. I was browsing a Japanese link in another thread a few days ago and saw some simply amazing examples. This one is every bit as impressive and such a cool idea. I like box art and original stuff alright, but WOW, these new interpretations just blow the lid off. Too, too cool.

Forest Whitaker would approve. :)

That's an awesome pic!

I've included a couple of extra pics of how the car looked after the four hour enduro.

Don't worry too much Ghost Frog fans - the car will be back in showroom presentation in no time.

We started off very confident but the vehicle just wasn't up to the task.

Everything that we had reinforced was fine but all the original gear failed us.

We had hub problems, uni problems, motor problems, spur problems, outdrive problems, body problems, wing problems, steering problems and driving problems...

Hopefully Karma will be kinder to us next year.

Sorry to hear about the many problems, but you made the full 4hours right?

4 hours of continuous running is far more than the original was ever built for.

I think most high-end shelfers wouldn't do any better so you can be real proud of the result no matter what.

We made 3 hours and 45 mins before we smoked the second motor. My co-driver wasn't anxious to do another swap so we sat it out for the last 15...
