Earlier in the week my Manta Ray was almost caught by a greyhound-looking mongrel, but with the brushless in the dog was easily left behind!

A passer by actually commented "I bet you wouldn't be laughing so much if the dog had actually caught it".

I hate dogs... :) Family heritage I guess - And the 'nice' owners of dogs in my neighbourhood

I never even crashed into her, but our cat is scared of all my RC cars. That while she caught an ermine (that's what you call those according to translation sites, anyway) at the age of 10!

I never worry about 'CAESAR' and my R/C's, he just follows my R/C's around while I drive them- I think he is in protect/ENFORCE mode :) , he is my security system!!

About a week after I bought a sweet Mad Fighter I was running it gently in my driveway when "Bear", the neighbors 130lb Rotweiler / [moose?] cross came charging across the street and paused with open jaws about 2 inches from the buggy. When I saw him coming I stopped and he just sat there poised to crunch the impertinent buggy should it so much as blink.

The neighbor came running over and apologized and nothing bad happened, but I had no idea whether the dog was mean or friendly. I just figured dogs are genetically programmed to chase what moves, and sure enough when I stopped the car, the dog stopped chasing it. Besides, the Mad Fighter couldn't outrun its own shadow, so the dog was going to catch it anyway. :)

Turns out the "Bear" is a big, stupid, loveable mutt. Of course, he would have gladly chewed the buggy to bits though. Neighbor said the only problem he's ever had, was when cats or small dogs would run, and then the dog would do the chase and chomp. People - no problem. RC cars and breakfast sized pets, er ... not so good.

I've never run my RC stuff around dogs........... In case of the inevitable! Recently took one of my frogs to my mum and dad's, to give my little nephew a bit of a laugh (feeble excuse!), but I made sure that my folks dogs were locked inside the house first.......One of them is a Doberman, and he looks like satan, with teeth all the way to the back of his throat! He's like most Dobbie's though.... Looks scarey, but he's a big soppy old lump

Love the piccy's of the Rotty, and the Jack Russell chasing the Wild One.

Our dog is about the same as the top post here. My wife kept her on the lead though and I didn't chase her; just passing by at minimum 2 meter. I love my dog and don't want to take her to the vet explaining 'it was an accident'.

Indoors she can turn into a real devil with the unassembled parts and tools etc. I really can't leave much on the floor and have to be quick if something accidently falls.

Sometimes if I'm not around she actually makes things "fall" from the bench too; after which they turn automaticaaly into chewing toys
