Keep your wits about you if you decide to buy anything from Ebay seller Tamiyacar2008. At least three of his auctions use pictures from this site. Zero feedback seller in Malaysia. He has a lot of NIB kits to sell.

So far 12 of his auction pictures are from this site, all different owners.

Every one of his listings are taken from the TC showrooms, a search of the showrooms will find every picture used. I have reported a few of them but if anyone else wants to report them as well the link is at the bottom of each auction page. A pity ebay doesn't list the bidders names any more as no one can contact them. Also as the seller can't leave negative feedback please feel free to put a ridiculously high bid on any of them.

I'm seriously considering firing up a new id and sticking huge bids on them all but no doubt eBay would give ME a hard time over it.

Yes, keep well away from this guy, I have sent him a mail plainly asking him if he actually owns these models or has ripped pics of the Tamiyaclub website but surprisingly have had no response!

I'll keep you updated if I do.

In the meantime if anyone recognises their photos they should complain to eBay making sure you use the words BREACH, MY and COPYRIGHT in the mail. Those are the magic words when it comes to getting eBay (or any site really) to do something.

Well reporting them worked again, they have all been deleted and he's been banned.

Lets see how long until he tries again, and how long until he learns he's being stalked.

Nice to know fellow RCers watch and care for other RCers. He got banned permanently before he made some serious damage to the hearts and minds (not to mention - wallets) of real Tamiya collector .

It never ceases to amaze me how much eBay will let people get away with this...they dont seem to give a rats leftie to be honest - as long as they get their prescious dollar....I have given up on selling on ther for now - just cant be bothered.

Ironically - I have been selling some of my collection prvately..

I reported it to ePAY as well...thanks to Tezza and all those that emailed me to let me know.

I'd be worried with all those items for sale from a new eBay seller BUT the pictures look genuine. All the items are photographed on the same table if you look closely so that suggests to me they atleast have got all the items and haven't "borrowed" pictures from elsewhere. If you're interested in anything drop them an email and see what they say about being a new eBay account - there may be a genuine reason for it.

That was my fault... I bought them all. I've sent him a forged bankers draft for £10k and asked him to send the change to my West African bank account.
