Another Photo Question

Right, apologies as there seem to be a few threads on this but not the answer I'm looking for so forgive m if I'm being dumb

Can I link my photobucket account when putting a new car in my showroom? It only allows me to browse to pics in my folders at the moment - first time I tried to load car no2 the files were to big and thus none loaded (am a subscriber so didn't think file sizes were an issue?). Can link them in forum posts from the IMG code easy enough.

Firstly it only uploads pictures from your hard drive, not from elsewhere on the internet, so no you can't upload them directly from a photobucket account.

Secondly the server will shrink any pictures you upload to 800 pixels wide. It is better to shrink them to this size beforehand as it saves you upload time, but the images don't have to be this size to upload. Size is not an issue, but the images must be a jpeg image with a file extension of .jpg anything else will be rejected.

if you're using photobucket just show your pics inline using the IMG bbcodes... photobucket even formats it for you ready to cut-n-paste
