Lol, you will have fun with ya VLB, i love mine its ace, even more fun with a little bit of a faster motor, i put a GT Tuned in mine.

The non oil filled dampers are a bit poo but it gives it character so im keeping them on rather than getting the oil filled ones. I would deffo recommend the 5th shock mod though as my springs snapped at the back after a few runs so i had a look at this thread CLICK HEREand modded it to stop the gear box slapping on the chassis and it does help. (I used two brackets at 90degrees to add strength, i also did this mod with a steak knife and blunt scalpel as i had no dremel, lol)

For xmas I got an EZrun brushless 9t set so will have fun wiring it up in my TA05 and put in my old brushed set up back in my TT01 which is set up to drift now :-p

I was lucky to get a frog in mid december and my dear wife let me build it also I the new rising fighter compleat with radio gear and my wife got a tamtech frog witch now has a sports tuned motor comming for it as she wants more speed now lol.

I will post pics tomorrow for all to see.

Santa (a.k.a ME)

Got me this, but it didnt arrive in time, I will pick it up at the PO tomorrow.

It has a whole bunch of really nice upgrades, a spektrum 3ch radio, Novak Crawler ESC. It also has all the original axles and parts that hvae never been run, as well as a NIP FJ bodyset. LiPo battery also came with it.

Very expensive, but well worth it...cannot wait to run it

Wife got me a pajaro and a 55t motor for my axial that I had asked for. As a surprise she also got me a 1:12 scale silverlit Ducatti motorcycle. It surprised me by working quite well. Merry Christmas to everyone.

OK my christmas day present opening turned out to be a bit surreal.

About a fortnight before the big day I happened to find out via the pc that my gf had purchased a Brat. Now I wasn't snooping, I genuinely just happened to see a "confirmation of despatch email", I had been dropping hints about getting a Tamiya car and my gf had been asking the appropriate innocent sounding questions so I kinda knew I was getting a Tamiya car so to find out it was the Brat was no big deal, in fact I was pleased, good choice by my gf.

So the morning comes and none of the boxes under the tree look anything like a Frog box. Nevermind, she's obviously going to unveil it as the last gift, I mean if she put it under the tree then it would be obvious it was a Tamiya car so actually it's good thinking on her part to hide it.

But since then nothing, it hasn't materialised! No Brat here my friend!

Now, I'm not being ungrateful because I got some awesome stuff, stuff I'm totally happy with but I'm wondering where the heck it has gone! I think possibly it hasn't arrived yet and when it does my gf will save it for my birthday at end of April but either way, there's a mysterious disappearing Brat round these parts!
