yeah it's pretty crazy, i just can't wait for it to warm up so i can get "some" traction.

I wonder if it will spin going into 3rd gear? My heavily modded '89 Dodge Daytona Shelby 2.2 did, it had a custom Miller-Woods 5th fuel injector on it...

And that's WITH a limited slip diff.

I have a 1983 stock Lada. Any of you guys want to race me for their pink slips? To be truthful, it will cost me to get rid of it at the dump. Well I am lying because all Ladas that were made have since been rusted out and dissindegrated.

I did a GT28RS on my old 1999 Audi A4 1.8T Quattro 5-speed Avant. It was great fun and made 335AWHP (Thats ALL WHEEL HORSE POWER) at 22 psi :) Needless to say I got tickets.

Err 335 wow ? I'am running a 2002 A6 quattro Bi turbo tiptronic. Thats a Twin turbo nigh on 3.0 litre V6 and only producing 260-270 at best. It will hit 60MPH in 5.9 and topping 160mph downhill with the wind behind me peddling like crazy and high octane fuel, and factory limiter (155mph) accidently "lost ;) " with the "tweaks done (exhaust etc).". The S6 the one up from mine is 4.0L ish, twin turbo and only running just short on 400. P.S buy a radar detector ;) Of course I am speaking factory standard specs on the S4. I am considering having a look at a bit more tuning on mine as its only had the limiter removed (Gentlemans agreement in europe by the manufacturers) and a better exhaust. Any suggestions ? Does anyone know this engines best tuning potential for reasonable cost ?

BTW In Europe (at least in the UK) the terminology is different

Bhp Brake horse power

ATW At the wheels

ATF At the flywheel Similar shorts but different meaning, Hence the confusion.

revo makes some nice software for the bi turbo cars.

i think it adds around 90 hp. swapping out the turbos for a pair of k04's will do wonders for it aswell.

i don't recomend going any bigger on a bi turbo car, everyone i know that has gone nigger than ko4's has wished they went with the ko4's.

disclaimer:

be carefull when adding more power to an automatic/tiptronic car, too much will shorten the life of the tranny, and that tranny is beyond expensive. :)

90hp sounds more than enough. Would I need bigger intercoolers ?

nope.

search revotechnik.com or something like that. it will have an area where you can find a dealer. they are based in the uk from what i remember.

Oh dear, that has just reminded me of a really embarassing moment in my life.......... A Rover with a V8 in it that I used to own got blown into the weeds by a Lada!! :) It was a beige coloured Riva.......Didn't feel quite so embarrased when I found out that it had got a tuned 2.0 litre Fiat twincam in it! ;)

It has two Intercoolers? They don't sell this model in the USA but then again all the cool cars never make it to the U.S. :)

yes they sell that car in the usa. the audi 2.7 bi turbo has two intercoolers and soe does the audi tt 225hp quattro.

two intercoolers actually cause a higher pressure drop than 1 large intercooler. but audi needed to do it due to space constraints.

and to think my parents stuck me in a 1997 V-6 Mitsubishi Montero with a crappy auto tranny. drifts nicely on dirt or snow but NO power what so ever. wish i had a 250+HP car to drive every day.
