I have just won a Touareg on ebay. []

Reading these forums I see that many people modify the steering on XC cars. Can someone please explain the problem with the steering linkage, and the solution?

XC steering column is too elastic, making it impresize, here is a nice kit which corrects it http://www.bauteil1.de/xc_lenkung.htm

DJ is correct about the steering on the Xc, but also because of the excess play in it, it attracts dirt/sand in the pivots and has been know the seize up.

I have the updrade steering on my runner and its excellent.
